There is always a case of too much of a good thing, and Spider-Man 3 was a definite victim; too many villains means there isn't enough time to flesh out characters and give them the screen time they deserve, which meant the long awaited screen debut of Venom turned into little more than an uninspiring cameo.
So, really - you think they'd learn from that. But, according to reports, the next challenge Spider-Man faces in part four will be none other than...
THE SINISTER SIX.
For those not in the know, the original Sinister Six were Electro, Kraven The Hunter, The Sandman, Doctor Octopus and Mysterio.
Doc Ock and Sandman we've met, but how in the hell is a two hour film going to cram in four new villains as well as all the love story, soul searching stuff we've come to expect?
Answer - they can't, without royally screwing it up. I really, really hope this turns out to be a rumour. As much as I'd love to see all these characters make it to film - not this way.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5...
Oh, Sinister SIX.... like, there's SIX of them. I get it now. I thought there only being five, but calling themselves SIX, was some kind of supervillain mindfuck.
I'm actually disappointed it isn't.
