Seems like those who physically show up would have the upper hand over long-distance orders. Fan club members usually get special advance deals, right? Are you a member or had Prince shut down all of his fan clubs too?

As far as I've been away, Prince's fanclub has been shut down indefinately ever since some time shortly after LOTUSFLOW3R/MPLSound/EXLIR was released. Could be wrong. I will probably be at work when the tickets go on sale, so I may have to throw down on the phone or PC. My new girlfriend is all geared to go. Maybe I'll see if her or her brother will gladly go to the local kiosk and wait for it to open so the tickets can be purchased. They've put the sale on hold as they need to discuss something about the arrangement/building of the stage. I sure hope the Hartwell Arena doesn't fuck it up! You hear that, Hartwell Arena? As much as I'd like to hate Mayte for breaking up with Prince (and if you listen to the music at the time and read into it.. she was a naughty girl, but then.. can you imagine living with the fucking guy?) she is too damn fine to hate.
Exciting times to be the Invisible Wolfman, for sure. So this is the first time he's played in Finland. Is this the first time you'll have seen him live?

 C'mon, Prince! Try to settle the matter soon so there's plenty of time to make proper arrangements! Yes, it'll be the first time I've ever seen "The Kid" in concert. The only experience I had to remotely being close to Prince was being at a Minnesota Timberwolves basketball game and I saw Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis sitting courtside with some lady that looked like Janet Jackson (but was not...Janet was on tour for RYTHYM NATION at the time). This is Prince's THIRD time attempting a concert in Finland. I don't know the details of why the first two times didn't work out, but I'm wondering if one of the times was when 3121 was released and he had been wanting that all tickets cost 31.21 in the currency. I could see how that would have made the idiots here say "NO." Otherwise I have no idea what's been the problem the first two times around.  |
