Watch this vid before reading on . Ugh. is there any way in the world a gamer playing the new Star Wars game wants to kill Han Solo and Chewbacca with his own two hands? Fuck no! Why not have a "rape Princess Leia" sidequest while you're at it? I am entirely for playing the bad guy, but game developers should realize that traumatized nerds should not be the result of the choice to go over to the dark side. Fans are not pleased.

I can´t watch the video in this internet cafe (I´m still abroad) but, damn, why would I want to? Han Solo being frozen still depresses the hell out of me, no way would I ever want to see him die. And at MY hands?? I´d never sleep again.

I haven't played the game (heard it's terrible), but basically, you are fighting an AT-ST on Endor and when you beat it you leap onto it and rip out the driver who is Chewie himself and commence to brutally slay him and Han as he comes to rescue his friend. I don't know if the game lets you know Chewie is in the vehicle ahead of time, but I can see hundreds of Star Wars geeks throwing the controller down and sobbing "what have I done!?" I guess the game developer wanted you to see the consequences of playing for Team Empire.

OK, I just watched the video. I feel like I've just watched a snuff movie. No-one.. should ever have to see that. Gotta love the pretentious Star Wars pricks on Youtube though, "yes, you get to kill the two most over-rated characters in Star Wars!" Riiiiiight. So who made the movie for you, then, dipshit? Fucking Luke?
Yeah, the game doesn't look great from what I've seen. I'd certainly play it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it or anything. It's not Arkham City or anything (which I cannot WAIT for..)

Arkham City gets a preorder for sure. Man, a Star Wars game that kills Han and Chewie. Did it not occur to the designers that gamers play these games to do things they actually think are fun and cool?

So, do you know if you HAVE to do this to progress in the game? I mean, it'd be different if it was a bonus secret level or something, but if you HAVE to kill Han and Chewie in the game to proceed... man. Epic fail.

I read that it's a downloadable add-on. That is to say you actually have to pay extra to kill them.
