Has anyone noticed that, recently, adverts (or commercials, whatever) now basically shout and scream at you in an attempt to grab your attention? I know the American stereotype is the used car salesman yelling about how crazy his deals are, which is something we certainly never had. But it seems now, with Sky+/Tivo where we skip through adverts, they now seem to want to be as irritating and annoying as possible just to get noticed. Take a listen to this travesty, and consider the same guy, with the same song, has appeared in commercials for about two years. So he's on TV about twenty five times a DAY. www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_-9QFvhQWoYeah. And if that didn't make you want to throw rocks at the screen, how about this one? www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXiJBp7HK5oFuuuuuck. When did this happen? You know, if something annoys me, like those ads do, it just makes me NOT want to buy their products. People will say, "yeah, but you get to know the name of the company etc." Yeah, and I know I want that company to fail. And before I sign off, be prepared to feel pure, animal rage at this one. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUKSxsxeBK4But on the upside, he didn't go unpunished.. www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article62049.eceNow we just need someone to hunt down that Go Compare guy.

Hey! The prim and proper spokesperson totally got down to the phat beat! AWESOOOOOOME!!!!!!!!!!! No seriously, are you sure that wasn't a parody because good god that was stupid. I'll take the "go compaaaaaaaaaaare" guy over that all day.
That article made me laugh until I cried. I'm not sure which is funnier, that that Frosties (those are called Frosted Flakes over here) kid received so much hate or that he took it to heart. And that they used that homotastic gymnast pic made it even funnier. Can't that fool tell the difference between having a laugh with overstated displays of keyboard aggression and a literal death threat?
