So universal reaction to the new modern Wonder Woman seems to be "blah". How about a reboot for a classic Spidey villain? comics.ign.com/articles/114/1146703p1.htmlI have to say I'm not big on the whole Snake Eyes look they've got going on, but from a story standpoint, I'm feeling this could be very cool. Containing the Venom symbiote and deploying it with an operative for covert ops is a pretty fucking cool idea if you ask me. Thumbs up from me on this concept, even if it's not the "real" Venom. How about you?

Hmmmmmm.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Part of me likes the idea, but the whole Venom character has been so neutred and removed from it's original premise it's hard to even call it Venom anymore. Why would the symbiote do anything like this in the first place? And seperating the symbiote from the host every couple of days? Oh, what, that act that almost killed Spidey in the first place, where in the end he needed Reed Richard's help because the symbiote refused to budge? Now it's just agreeing to be put in a tank every couple of days? Bullshit.
And Flash fucking Thompson is a super hero now? With Venom?
Arrrrrrrrrghhhh.

I kind of like the idea of wheelchair-bound ex-soldier AND Peter Parker friend Thompson using the symbiote to achieve his former potency and then some. TONS of dramatic possibilities. I'm curious about how they are going to answer the questions about managing the symbiote myself. I imagine it needs time to bond with a host and Spidey saw no reason to remove it in the old days so by the time he realized the danger, it was too late. If the symbiote never bonds long-term with the host, it's possible a simple sonic treatment could be used to "coax" it to leave a host it hasn't formed an attachment to. That's my guess, anyway.
