Holy shit, you've got to see this trailer.
Anything that begins looking into the eyes of a dead child has got to be guaranteed good times. I don't know what kind of gameplay Dead island has, I don't even know the genre. But I do know that anybody who could create something that fucking amazing must be able to make one hell of a video game. Sold!

Good God.
GOOD GOD.
That was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. From a techinal standpoint the animation is some of the most fluid and realistic yet - at times it was easy to forget you were looking at computer animation and not actual people. The rewind shots and music were just stunning. Dead Island has one of the best trailers I've ever seen - on any medium.
If the game lives up to that trailer, we're looking at a five star instant classic.

Here's something interesting. Apparently, this is already being picked up for a feature film based entirely on that amazing trailer. Hope they don't fug it up.

I hate to be that guy, Trashy, but, they will.
Also, pretty sure it's a zombie survival/horror game. And one of the saddest trailers I've ever seen. Amazing graphics, though.

Seems like a safe bet (both about messing up the movie and the survival/horror), Newestone. If the people making that game are the same show made the trailer than I'm expecting some amazing storytelling.

Well, let's hope the writers of the game are as talented as the animators. Honestly, the ones I'm looking forward are Duke Nukem Forever (because, after 12 fucking years, who isn't...), L.A. Noire, And Deus Ex: Human Revolution. And possibly the new Red Faction.

That'd be fucking gross. But it would also be a lot like Duke Nukem.

I had the first Duke Nukem game for the PS1 and fucking LOVED it. It was years later when I got one of the more recent Duke Nukem games and.. well, it hadn't aged very well. I actually felt a bit embarrassed by it all.
