You may have heard he's been killed. I think one or two people were talking about it. I don't imagine you heard it here first, anyway.
So it took 10 years, but they finally took him out. Or did they?
It was Mrs C who started this in my mind, but the more you add it up.. I dunno, it doesn't make sense. It's early days and the details aren't all there yet, but you kill THE most wanted man in the world.. and have no body? And they're going to scatter his remains at sea so there WON'T be a body?
So what do we have, then? A news report saying "yep, he's dead. America killed him. We win. No, we don't really have any proof. But he's really dead. Honest."
Now, I'm no conspiracy theorist (or.. AM I....?) but if this really is all we have to go on.. trust me, these doubts will soon be as common as the 9/11/Moon Landings/Kennedy shenanigans.

Could his demise be bullshit, what with his remains being dumped into the sea and all? Well, I'm of the opinion that if anyone in the world was going to try and pull that shit, it would have been Bush. But imagine if a president reported the guy dead and then he pops up with more video rants around election time. No, I think our Muslim extremist friend is extremely fucking dead and Obama now has a club to beat the fuck out of the Republicans who called him soft. And ultra-liberal or not, the prez has been fucking ruthless in the Middle East. Honestly if either had any integrity, Democrats should be kicking his ass and Republicans should be cheering him for expanding on Bush's policies. |

I agree that he is dead. but I don't think Obama had him killed. Now I like Obama and if I lived in the USA I would have voted for him.
However It seems awful convenient that after a year full of criticism for his lack of action toward the war on terror he suddenly comes up with killing the biggest and most wanted man of our time. Now I would love to believe that he died this morning but I get the distinct impression he has been dead for sometime and they either came by proof of this recently (and are claiming responsibility) or they killed him some time ago and have decided to wait until the 10 year mark (conveniently 1 yr before his re-election bid).
Also there are photos of his bloodied face being paraded on Pakistani news forums. These pictures are proven to be fake and at least 2 years old. This comes from a British newspaper who were handed these photos in 2009.
Think what you may but if they really did kill him today then they would have had his remains paraded about like they did with Saddam's cabinet and he would have had a proper Islamic burial not a quick "aye he's dead lets punt him into the sea" (which is disrespectful for Muslims and would cause a bigger load of shit then actually just killing him).
Like I said don't doubt he is dead but I don't think it happened the way they said it did.

Also (and call this radical) That there is a possibility that he may not be dead and they have him held captive in some Guantanamo type bunker somewhere with an angry Jack Bauer torturing him until he spills the beans on inside Al quaeda intelligence. Sounds plausible to me

I just don't understand the manic RUSH to get the whole thing over and done with so quickly. They hunt the guy for 10 fucking YEARS, they shoot him and then toss the body into the sea the same damn DAY??

They've been hunting for him longer than 10 years. They disposed the body according to Muslim law (within 24 hours) and they buried him at sea so no one can make a shine out of him. Whether they got him or not - he trained a lot to be just like him therefore Al Qaeda isnt going to be gone anytime too soon. As a matter of fact this could stir up more trouble.

I believe they said Bin Laden's own country didn't want his remains buried there so they had to dump him in the ocean. Fitting. I agree with following Muslim tradition on this. We've kicked up enough shit over there as it is without publicly disrespecting the predominant religion of the region. That's one less excuse for us to be over there. Trashcanman, your idea isn't too far off from that of a buddy of mine: nail him to a cross at Ground Zero.
I'm not buying any of this "Well they SAY he's dead but I don't have any PROOF" nonsense. I guarantee they snapped a couple hundred photos of the body before burying it. And as someone else already pointed out, what's the motivation behind saying he's dead when he's actually not? He could just send some more videos to the news station in Islamabad and make the U.S. government look like idiots.
I'm digging the posters, though.
EDIT: Anyone know why my images never imbed? What always shows up is the little box and the big red X and it says "image" inside. Annoying.

Some images seem to do that. Usually, right clicking on an image, "copy image location", and pasting it in between the image brackets works.
Even with pictures of the body, people will think they are fake. Shit, there are already fakes popping up online. We're talking about a country where a significant(ly ignorant) portion of the population doesn't believe it's possible that Obama was born in Hawaii even after the birth certificate is verified, posted, and the governor of the freakin' state (who is a family friend) says he was there when lil' Barack was born. Conspiracy theories will rage for years.

People make me sick when it comes to compassion. Osama wasnt armed when he was killed? So the fuck what? The motherfucker assinated over 3000 innocent people and we are suppose to feel compassion for him? Some people are fucked up in the head. They took him out and then dumped his body. I hope the sharks ate him and hes getting his 75 virgin Susan Boyles.
They're still bickering over the JFK assination too.

When I read today that Bin Laden wasn't armed I KNEW there'd be hand-wringing and claims of extreme force blah blah. It's fucking Osama Bin Laden. He was lucky he DID get a bullet through the head. 99% of people would want to skin the fucker alive.
