That's right - an uncut (what the hell could have been cut?) R2 version is coming out, one we don't have to pay through the bill for on foreign sites.

Sadly its not the 2 disc set with George Lucas commentary, extra scenes and all the other horrendous touch-up's he's insisted on ruining his movies with. Thankfully.

Yes, it's beyond awful. But you can bet The Curmudgeon will be in line to buy it.

Actually, it was this site....just an older thread (on page 3 to be percise).

For my next psychic prediction, I'd like to say that Lucas will begrudgingly release THE STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL on DVD just because he needs a new way to milk all the milk from the OT's teet.....
