So the big thing at Marvel at the moment is the X-Men "Schism" storyline that will essentially be the dividing up of all the active
mutant heroes in the Marvel U into two camps and eight separate teams (series).
It's finally come down to it. Wolverine or Cyclops: who do you side with?
Since the story has not concluded at this point, the details of the ideological dispute that causes the fracture is unclear
(though most seem to think that Summers has crossed a line in using young mutants as assassins,
and that Wolverine's constant opposition is likely the cause),
but Marvel has been hyping up the upcoming series' that will be "X-Men: Regenesis" by posting images from each side with the characters blacked out.
A few on each side were unveiled each day, leading to much discussion and anticipation,
and now that the final line-ups are revealed, I'm posting them here for your consideration.
Team Wolverine:
Team Cylcops:
Very cool. I like how Psylocke is on both sides.
Will her secret X-Force allegiance and friendship to Wolverine make her the perfect spy, or is she really working with Cyke?
All I know is that I would not fuck with a team that has Cyclops, Juggernaut, Mags, Danger, and Emma Frost on it.
Damn. Shock and fucking awe.
Also note that Toad is on Wolverine's team, and that the entire "X-Men" roster
-which is a damn interesting one- are close friends of Logan's,
opening the possibility of not only Psylocke being a spy, but that entire team.
I'll admit to not knowing who a good portion of the members are on each side, but I've gotta ask: which team are you liking?
I've always got a soft spot for X-Force
(can't help noticing no Warren Worthington present on any team, which doesn't bode well for him in the current storyline)
and adding Age of Apocalypse Nightcrawler to that mix only adds to the awesome. How about you?
