So there is a few films due out which I am more than a little bit excited about.

We have The Rum Diaries with my favorite Mr Depp (mmmm). Another of Hunter S Thompson's books brought to the big screen and it has been sitting in development hell for quite a while until Johnny Depp got on board and now it is set for a Nov 6th release

This looks an interesting one. In Time. Starring JT, Cillian Murphy, The bird out of House, The young hot bird out of Big love and that guy out of mad men who used to be Connor (son of angel) in long lost far away poochy episode of Angel. Anyhoo looks good if not a little bit Logan's run.

and indie film anticipation goes to Tyrannosaur. No it is not about dinosaurs but domestic violence and the relationship between an alcoholic and a charity shop worker who has an abusive husband. Looks good.

Zombie Doomsday. How many kinds of triteness and "meh" can they cram into one trailer. Shaky-cam? Original! Yet another zombie movie? Original! And the government is going to blow up a town? Original! If I hear it's the shit, I may rent it. Only The Thing is likely to get only play from me out of this list.

The one you posted isn't even interesting enough to mock. I don't understand the marketing there. Look! A dude with his shirt off! LOOOOOKKKK!!!!! He has no shirt! Oh, and also, he's a werewolf or whatever. And people are getting married! And after the wedding there is sex. Bed-ruining sex. And also, sex a river teeming with bacteria just looking for an open coochie to infect. All that kiddie sex in a PG-13 film. I'm so turned on by that prospect. Ohmagawd, she's looking at her perfectly-toned stomach and touching it like.....no. Could it be? Could she be....pregnant or something? Not possible! Dooooooood, I'm totally going to see that awesome premise for a film. And it's only part one? Squeeeee!

Yeah, Twilight trailers really have no business on this site, wife. I don't actually mind the movies but.. time and a place, yes?

I'm really not sure about Holmes 2. I enjoyed the first one but after seeing the superior modern British take, this sort of tongue in cheek farce doesn't really cut it. I dunno, we'll see. It's just a bit of a surprise they revealed Moriarty so soon, when he was this shadowy, mysterious figure in the first movie. Now he's just some old guy. Um.. great. And I'm not sure what the devoted followers of the World's Greatest Detective (or isn't that Batman?) will make of seeing him in drag. They'd choke on their pipes.

The depressing, gritty British abused woman drama thing looks good, though. Not exactly cinema material, but certainly worth a look. And more Depp/Thompson is good news for anyone.

The zombie flick could be a vanity project too far (look what WE can do with nothing!) I'll keep an eye on that one.
