Bah. Link not working in the UK.
There's a gamestore near where I work that has the trailer for the game on constant loop, and I find myself going in every day to watch it. I don't think I've ever really been excited for a game to come out before (well.. except SFIV) but this is a first. I think we should all make time for this one.

media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/39/1858192-walmart_batman_middle.jpgTrailer fixed. I've been binging big time on Gears of War 3, so there's a possibility of me picking Bats up on release after all. I've another 3 weeks before Arkham and then a month after to beat it before Skyrim comes out. I'm kind of bent because the pre-order bonuses are a fucking fiasco like no other. www.giantbomb.com/news/batman-arkham-citys-pre-order-bonus-scheme-is-like-some-terrible-labyrinthine-nightmare/3567/Gamestop (the only game store in my town) is giving DVD copies of Batman: Gotham Knight with preorders. Awesome. Except it's old and I already own it. Fucking weak. There is also a downloadable bonus map. One. Map. Best Buy gives you playable Robin, and the best that the largest gaming chain in the country can muster up is a fucking bonus map? Why do all of these other countries get badass costumes? That's way cooler than a measly bonus map. What a mess. This is the first time preorder bonuses ever made me want to buy a game less. Not that that's a reason not to buy it, but it's just kind of insulting to me as a fan.

Watched the trailer. Just brilliant. Is Joker the main villain of this game too? I saw a cardboard cut out that had the Riddler and the Penguin on there. I figured it may be the Riddler as he was unseen in the first game (I never did get all of those damned Riddles..)
Part of me hates all this "get THIS here" and "buy THIS version to get.." stuff. It kinda puts me off buying it, because if you get one version and then see some great offer the next day giving you different characters etc, that's just going to piss me off. As long as all the stuff is available to buy on the PSN, that will do for me.
Here's an unrelated question. On the Simpson's PS3 game, there's an option on the game to view the downloadable content, then when you go on the PSN, there's nothing there, and a Google search reveals I'm not the only one to search without luck. There isn't any. Has that ever happened to you before?
