Ha - I KNEW I'd get scooped on this trailer! As soon as I saw it I came in here to post it... I've got to start getting up earlier.
Shamefully, I have yet to see (deep breath), Iron Man 2, Captain America AND Thor, so I feel I'm kinda a bit behind everyone else for this film.
Is it just me, though, or does this look like the Iron Man show? Almost all of that trailer was Tony Stark being awesome. They probably need someone like Downey to keep the film light and watchable and not bogged down in super serious mode, but I really hope everyone gets a fair share of the spotlight. But uggggh - THAT is Hawkeye? No thanks.

I read a description of a clip of the film that showed at Comic-Con or somewhere that gave me goosebumps and based on that, I can pretty much tell you it will rock your fucking socks. The trailer was admittedly weak, but that's just because it does nothing but establish that it's the motherfucking Avengers! In a movie! Together! With stuff going boom! Yay!

Whenever you see Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America make sure you see them in that order. There's a running backplot regarding Howard Stark, Vibranium and the Cosmic Cube that's alluded to in pieces through those three films.
