I've got to give props to this list of loveliness featuring some of the sexy stars of modern cult horror classics. Enjoy. girls.gunaxin.com/ten-new-sexy-faces-modern-horror/103324One major omission gripe. Alexandra Daddario from Bereavement. Not only an outstanding new take on the classic slasher movie, but I could not take my eyes off of this girl.

I dunno if it says a lot either about this list or the horror genre in itself when most of these films sound like straight to DVD shit. "Dance of the Dead?" What the hell is that? Although Jordan Ladd ticks a lot of boxes. My personal choice of (fairly) new horror hotty; star of the Amityville remake, Triangle and 30 Days of Night.. the delicious Melissa George. Om nom nom.

Dance of the Dead is SHIT. That was the one bad pick. Trick r Treat is a must buy, though. Anna Paquin's in it as well if that does anything for ya. Rec was so good it earned a remake only a year after it was released (Quarantine). The sequel was good as well. Grace is possibly one of the ickiest horror films of recent years. A vampire baby sounds like a stupid premise, but to any parent, that movie is truly horrifying. Teeth is an amazing film. I know vagina dentata sounds like a better premise for comedy, but the movie is a fantastic metaphor for a young woman's struggle with sexual identity and empowerment. Hatchet 1 and 2 are some of the better slasher films of the decade. If you wasted time on the Friday and Elm Street remakes, you could sure as hell spare some time for those. Laid to Rest an Martyrs are in my queue, and The Devils' Chair doesn't really sound like my kind of thing. Pretty great list, in my opinion. But seriously, fuck Dance of the Dead.

Man oh man, I am just shamefully out of touch with modern horror movies. REC I had actually heard of but just never seen. The Devil's Chair is a British horror from a few years ago. I actually bought that one, but I've just never watched it. Why did I buy that one? Because it stars this man: Sold. The others you mentioned sound good, too. I recently upgraded my TV package to include dozens of HD movie channels, so I should hopefully get up to speed on all things horror pretty damn soon.

If they're playing any of those movies, then you've got waaaaaayyyy better movie channels than we do.

I dunno, I think a few those could show up. There's some pretty obscure stuff to be found if you look hard enough. I just found a horror channel (called, oddly enough, The Horror Channel) that is showing the full series of the Hammer House of Horror. I'll take that to go, please.
