I actually saw this "Siri" thing getting used yesterday, and the guy using it, with a.. sort of.. strong Scottish accent, couldn't get a word to be understood either.
I'm no technological expert, but surely this sort of thing should have been ironed out a bit before selling it?

Nope. They get the money either way. It does seem that they could program an accent option. Even in America, I could see some southern and ummm... "urban" folk having issues as well.
