You love Batman. I love Batman. We love Batman. Everybody. Loves. Batman. Somebody has caught wind of this and is now intent on showing us the ultimate in wrong ways to use a license. I now present for review, Gotham City Impostors: the Batman game where you don't get play as Batman. Instead, you run around shooting people.....the BATMAN way! What the fuck was that, you say? Why are a bunch of idiots shabbily dressed as Joker and Batman playing Team Fortress 2 against each other? Well, here's another trailer to (kind of) explain. I reckon we have the beginning of The Dark Knight to thank for this concept. Won't say it doesn't look like fun, but it seems to me that taking a game that clearly applies to Batman in no way, shape, or form, and slapping a Batman-looking coat of paint on it is exactly a way to bring gaming into a new dark age of shit quality. Anyone digging this or do we all agree this is a pass? I may reconsider if I see footage of one of the characters saing "I'm Baman!" A Piderman cameo would be nice too.

There was a little slip inside the Arkham City game where you could sign up for the Beta test version of this game.
Looks pretty intriguing. The trailers are certainly pretty damn good. No sale for me if it's a FPS though. I just can't handle that shit. If it's a game with the same level of playability as the two Batman games though, count this brother in. A game that parodies the Batman franchise could be quite entertaining.
It's not a no question insta-purchase like Batman was but.. yeah. Could be cool.

I might be down for it if it wasn't all Batmans and Jokers. If you could customize your outfit using the fashion all of Gotham's heroes and villains like Huntress, Scarecrow, Bane, Nightwing, Catwoman, and the like that might be enough to pull me in, but having it be all Jokers vs all Batmans just seems like somebody halfass- modded Team Fortress 2 after purchasing the rights to the Batman license just because it'd make money. I don't dig.
