You've played Batman: Arkham Asylum and loved it. You've played Batman: Arkham City and loved it more. Question is, is there anywhere else for these games to go? I think even one of the hoods in the game made the same crack, like, "what comes after that?" How about something completely different? How about a Batman game, but with THIS Batman; Have the same kind of world that the former two games have, but everything is bright and day-glo coloured. The camera tilts to the side when Batman talks, the fights have the "BIFF! POW" captions pop up on screen. Have a whole host of villains from the TV series (Vincent Price's Egghead, for example) as well as the standards from the comic book, have the Batmobile, the Batboat.. and have Batman and Robin voiced by Adam West and Burt Ward, of course. Would you want to see it?

I would but not as a main console game - I think it would be best served on a PSP VITA or something Just can't see it being that BIG a release as the whole Arkham thing has made all the fans jizz over the series and want more like "OMG STFU THIS PS3 TITLE IS ZOMG - GAME OR GTFO SHIZZ IMO kthanxbi" -.- So as much as this could be quite a "quirky" release - I think it would struggle so soon after the Arkham series.

Some days, you just can't get rid of a bomb. And that's what I would predict for a game based on the 60's show. I agree with Quillguy that a smaller release would be the way to go; an Xbox arcade release or Vita or whatever. The animated spiritual successor to the show (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) got a DS game, though, so I wouldn't write it off 100%. Just 99%. What I would expect to see in the future is a game like Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions where you play as multiple interpretations of The Dark Knight from different eras. I'd count on that happening at some point.

Man, the 60's Batman meeting up with the ultra brooding 00 (10's?) version would be worth the price alone. I think you're right, an online only release would probably be a good way to go. There's probably a thousand of those games that are only available on the PS3 store or whatever that are worth a look that I've never even heard of because they're not on a shelf.
