As I mentioned earlier last week, I'm now a proud (and gotta say, extremely happy) owner of an iPhone 4s. I also mentioned that I was now going to be hooked on Angry Birds. Turns out that wasn't to be, as I discovered a (free) game for the iPhone that now eats away entire hours of my day.
What game? This game;
Army of Darkness: Defense is an amazingly addictive little game, obviously written by die-hard obsessives of the movie itself (it's packed with more quotes and references to the movie than most full price tie-in titles). You control Ash and his army, keeping the Dead-Ites away from the book which is on your side of the castle. You have to choose what soldiers to use, what special weapons to choose at what particular time and, as I mentioned in my Facebook page, is more fun than watching a fat man drown.
Upgrades include a chainsaw for Ash's hand right up to Ash's car, armed with a drill, ploughing through the undead hordes. There's hundreds of achievements to unlock, my personal favourite so far being "Honey, You Got Real Ugly."
