Ha ha ha. These are great. Man, that guy in the "Folgers" coffee was a total prick. Surely even back then they must've realised that? She was terrified of him! I'm still not sure what the Goodyear tire ad was about. Why the dramatic music when she was driving? In case she hits someone? Gets a flat and then raped when looking for help? That one was just weird. No WAY can that ad be real. "Here's your report, cunt, hold the lift slut.." Naaah. No way did that get on TV. Although it wasn't actually sexist - it was about women receiving equal pay, right? The Bud Light one shouldn't be in here, because it's clearly tongue in cheek, and is actually pretty funny. Just a shame it has to be for shitty Bud Light. That Dr Pepper "not for women" ad is scarily similar to an ad campaign that (I think) is still going, going so far as to have "NOT FOR GIRLS" written on the wrapper. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcjlzSod0CESomehow, telling half the population NOT to buy your product is good business sense. After seeing these, the skits and parodies in the Harry Enfield sketch look like girl-power campaigns. www.youtube.com/watch?v=39qdhbkTko4What I've noticed now, though, is that (at least in the UK) men are now portrayed as weak-willed man-children, dorky and goofy while the world weary wife looks on. It's funny when it happens to chicks, but when the roles are reversed? Not so much. In most adverts now, women are THE BOSS. There's an ad where a couple are arguing over what toothpaste to buy, and she pretty much threatens him with physical violence (in a light hearted way, of course). Imagine if that was the other way round. Then take a look at this horrible bitch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft-RvOAeRe8Women, eh? Give them an inch..

Wow. The "not" is underlined and an exclamation point as well, eh? What the fuck were those ad execs thinking?
