So apparently there's this game going across the nerdosphere. A list of awesome all-powerful fictional items has been compiled and each geek may pick two. Why not just one? Good question. But the game is two. Choose wisely.
The Green Lantern ring floats my boat as it offers powers limited only by your imagination and the will to make awesomeness happen. Flight (including pace travel), invincibility, and WMD capabilities in addition to the Ring being (more or less) a talking PC seem like pretty awesome things to have on your side and there's no real downside aside from the possibility of forgetting to charge it and getting lost in space or something dumb like that.
For number two, I would normally go for the One Ring, but seeing that it's the ultimate metaphor for the inevitable corruption of power, I'll have to pass. Lightsabers and Death Notes are only good fro killing shit, which doesn't interest me. no food and no sex means nothing to live for, so living forever would just be a waste of time. The Red Pill is just an odd pick and I don't really get it's inclusion other than trying to shoehorn The Matrix in. Don't have much use for pets and getting candy is hardly difficult. Anything useful the Elder Wand can do, the Power Ring can probably do better so I guess that leaves the Portal gun. Then again, being able to fly fast enough to travel through space probably means I wouldn't have much use for that either. But it is pretty cool so Portal gun it is.
New game. Come up with better fictional items to choose from, and then include them amongst your choices if you like.

Super-strength, flight, weather control. But you have to be worthy of it.
Invisibility Cloak
You are invisible while inside of it, but you can be heard.
Aladdin's Lamp
3 wishes, but the genie is a dick who will likely try and find a way to use your own wishes against you.
The Sands of Time
You can actually use the sand to rewind time, but once it's gone, it's gone.
