After the sublime, inspired genius of Borat one could forgive the slightly laboured and way less funny antics of Bruno. Thankfully Sacha Baron Cohen has ditched the "hidden camera" stuff and went instead for a character that could be more controversial than anything he's done before. "America, the birthplace of AIDS", indeed. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFsNeR1aJx0&feature=relatedCould be great, could be a one-joke premise stretched to 90 minutes. Fingers crossed on this one.

Had some seriously funny moments, but I feel like the hidden camera thing with real reactions was what made Borat funny. When they tried to go into "story mode", the film mostly failed. I'm hoping this one is good, but I've got my doubts.

If Cohen's movie centered around his character Ali G is anything to go by, it'll have a handful of great lines and the rest will either be boring or just not that funny. I'll probably end up buying a ticket despite my lack of optimism.
