Well, after the first part (Best British Album, written about eight minutes ago), I thought I'd show you what the Best British Film in 60 years is, according to public votes... and the result isn't quite as surprising or awesome.
1. Trainspotting
2. Monty Python And The Holy Grail
3. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part Two
4. Monty Python's Life Of Brian
5. A Clockwork Orange
6. 2001: A Space Odyssey
7. Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban
8. The Italian Job
9. Shaun Of The Dead
10. The King's Speech
11. Love Actually
12. Hot Fuzz
13. Goldfinger
14. Billy Elliot
15. Slumdog Millionaire
16. The Great Escape
17. Snatch
18. Quadrophenia
19. Bridget Jones's Diary
20. Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels
The Harry Potter films can fuck off forever, and the lack of British horror is depressing and just plain wrong. No love for the Wicker Man? Have people forgotten that Alien was actually a British movie? The fucking Shining???
Meh. This list sucks.

Actually, I did not forget that Alien was British. I never knew that to begin with. Snatch? Meh. I'll let Kubrick's entire non-Clockwork catalog go since it'd be far too easy to simply title this list "20 Best Kubrick Films" and be done with it. That man was a cut above the rest of humanity when it came to filmmaking. 28 Days Later should have made the cut, though. Revolutionized zombie cinema just as it began to hit it's popularity apex. I know I'm forgetting a million others, but it's hard for me to split off English language films from one another and remember which are which. And Wicker Man? Yeah, fuck this list.

Cheerleading, I think. Pretty odd any way you look at it.
