So the official term, according to the glorious looking 10 DISC blu ray set at least, of the movies that came before the Avengers. So, of course, that's
Iron Man Iron Man 2 The Incredible Hulk Thor Captain America and The Avengers
So now we've seen them all, what are our thoughts on the movies themselves? Highlights? Low points? Worst movie?
Personally, I think Captain America was the weakest movie for me. I liked the Red Skull as a villain but I just thought there wasn't enough... I dunno.. feeling, to it. Like, Bucky dying just sort of happened and God only knows what happened to the Red Skull (I read that he was apparently "beamed up" to Valhalla). Don't get me wrong, Cap was fine, I just think the other movies were better.
Thor was a surprise. I didn't expect the big goof to be half as likeable as he was, and even though Loki was WAY more cool and evil in the Avengers movie, I found the movie to be far more enjoyable than I originally thought.
That's my two cents for now, what are YOUR thoughts on the biggest franchise and gamble in cinematic history?

Awesome. Awesome. And more awesome. Did you really ever think you'd ever see a genuine Marvel Universe of films that were really good at worst? I sure didn't. It wasn't even a possibility in my head until the rumors of Iron Man's post-credits reveal. I'm still not sure how they did it. I'd rank the films like so.
Avengers Iron Man Incredible Hulk Thor Iron Man 2 Captain America
If only DC could get their shit together and rock the JLA this well. But even without, this is plainly and simply the golden age of comic book fandom.

I really should have seen that one coming, but I genuinely did not. Ooh, now do Buffy!
