Yeah, I've been hearing a lot about this cannibal/zombie stuff and I've been away for the weekend so didn't really read much about it. Just read a few links now and.. damn. That is some gruesome shit. And apparently there are now over six cases reported worldwide in the last few days....
Isn't this how all zombie movies start?

Cracked actually did an article about how the media coverage is bullshit. www.cracked.com/blog/4-ways-face-eater-zombie-craze-proves-medias-broken/He's right, of course, but I am starting to get really fucking tired of Cracked's turn towards straight-faced political correctness. Yes, I am fucking aware that if it my uncle or whatever that got attacked, I probably would not be joking about zombie attacks (as much) and it really is disturbing and tragic, but what Dan there doesn't seem to realize is that most good humor comes from pain. It's one of our psychological defense mechanisms. I go to that site to laugh and maybe learn something interesting, not to be earnestly lectured about how sexist comics are towards women or how comparing a psychotic grunting cannibal attack to something out of a zombie movie is not very nice. Anyways, I'm betting at the end of the video, he either just kept on running and got away or started pleading like a bitch until they felt bad for him. If they actually beat him down, I'd like to think they'd have left that in for the lulz. |
