We bid farewell a TV show that we'd enjoyed for 8 full seasons today. A show with a superb cast, amazing writing and .. hey, it was pretty emotional saying goodbye. Because today Mr and Mrs Curmudgeon said goodbye to.. And so it got me thinking; House really did become a TV Icon in our lives. A show we watched, week in, week out, knew all the characters by name (instead of saying "that fat guy, that black girl, that old woman", this was a cast we had become emotionally involved in for eight years, from day one until the very end. So, TV Icons from, say, the 90's would be, for me the likes of the X Files, Beavis and Butt-Head and Buffy. This century things have obviously changed. Nowadays, alongside shows that have survived over the last two decades (Simpsons, WWE), my modern day TV Icons are... That's just a couple; hopeful future inductions will be Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, Game of Thrones, American Haunted and, oddly, Seinfeld. Let's see yours.

Modern meaning 00's? Shame on you for missing this one: Making a big comeback in the fourth season: and best believe this one will make it: another show making a big comeback this season after a few weak ones: just in case I haven't pimped this show enough: and finally, prepping a triumphant fourth season return after a long hiatus:

Around 90% of the TV show's that has been displayed here are awesome. And I was surprised to see Merlin up there. I love the show but I know others that hate it. And LOST and House were just pure awesome. However True Blood was not for me. After the whole world obsessed with twilight and vampires phase, anything remotely blood sucking I couldn't stand. That's not to say the show may be shit, just that my impression if it was tainted. At the minute I am obsessed with the walking dead and all its comic book zombie fueled awesomeness.

I'll bet I could find something to change your mind about vampires, man. Twilight should not even be considered part of the same genre. That flash in the pan bullshit will be gone soon enough and we can go back to associating vampires with tearing motherfuckers throats out.

That's what I like to hear. A kin who also enjoys the gore and horror of the true vampires. I believe I have now added Stephanie Meyer, author of shitlight to my hitlist of those that must pay for tainting the minds of a generation, mostly sixteen year old girls.

So I assume by modern you mean anything since the start of the naughties. Well my list is as follows: and I hate to say it. Yes, this deserves a well deserved spot up here - that little street has given me quite a full amount of entertainment, definitely the best soap imo. So that's it, but to dive deeper my favourite 90's shows include. X - Files, Millennium, Star Gate, Red Dwarf, Charmed, WWE SMACKDOWN then Raw , Sabrina the teenage witch (Whaaaaat?! She was hot! >.>), Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Monarch of the glen, The Simpsons, Dark Angel, Black Adder, Only fools and horses and Home & Away (This soap was friggin awesome in the 90's). Good choice though people

I agree with all but the street. I should have burned down a long time ago, maybe from a renegade hotpot that set fire to Audrey's barnet. And now Im ashamed at myself because I know who Audrey is, and what the famous hotpot is, and now its all coming back to me now, like the celine dion cover. Oh god. I'm being pulled into soap land. No. Sir. It will not happen. Good day to you sir.
