www.chud.com/100208/thud-arrested-development-season-4-filming-in-four-weeks/Well, it's finally happened. Personally, I'd like to think that this has something to do with the entertainment world tired of putting out stupid just for the sake of stupidity...but then they're trying to make a film out of 50 SHADES OF GREY so I'd rather focus that at least a small group has maintained their sanity by not investing in the modern teenagers who are glued to their iPhones.

Netflix are really doing folks a solid by resurrecting some of these canceled shows. How freakin' great is it that you'll be able to stream the whole thing when you want, how you want instead of having to wrestle with you DVR and all that. In the meantime, I really need to catch up on AD. Thankfully, NF also has seasons 1-3 at our disposal.

Netflix is slowly but surely coming over to the UK, but hopefully Sky Atlantic (the channel with all the HBO Shows) will pick this up. Having the entire series at your disposal makes sense with AD, because I think you'd miss a lot of the obscure references and in-jokes that are contained in the show if you were to watch it on a one episode a week basis. In fact, I think that was one of the reasons it was cancelled. I'm trying really hard not to get too excited about this because it may well not live up to expectations. Ah, fuck it. Arrested Development is coming baaaaaaack!!

NF has an all you can watch "stream only" service that's really goddamn cheap so you may actually be able to get it over there sans DVD delivery. You may want to look into it. Even if you think Arrested Development is all you want it for, I think you'll be amazed at their available selection of obscure grindhouse flicks (many of which are not even out on dvd) and badass television series past and present in their entirety (the Twilight Zone to name just one) even if nothing else about the idea inpresses you.
