While writing my review of the Psycho franchise, I got distracted (as is common), and started watching trailers I'd never seen of old horror movies. Now, I've seen the original Exorcist, of course, and I've seen the third movie many years ago. I'd never actually seen the second film and, after watching this trailer, I now know I never will. I mean, seriously. Think of the original Exorcist and what made it so great. Now, watch this trailer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFspymGVZLYThe original was a tense, realistic story based on a factual account and a metaphor for basic beliefs and good vs evil. This trailer has got all kinds of fucking lunacy going on, including, if I'm not mistaken, a giant cockroach. Just.. who the fuck thought this was a good idea?

John Boorman's film of The Exorcist Two: The Heretic". What kind of Engrish is that? Man, that was like the Gangnam Style of horror trailers. It was kind of awesome in it's way.

That was awful. And yet I found it so very funny.
