Leave it to the Republican party to ruin the concept of utilizing popular video game franchises to make amusing political commentary. Behold this actual attack ad that takes aim at a candidate's WoW career as a reason she can't be elected.

Fuck. Unbelievable. So she spends time playing a video game so that makes her not worthy to.. arghhh.
So hobbies are a bad thing now? Can't read books, you're not LIVING IN THE REAL WORLD! Don't watch TV, you're not LIVING IN THE REAL WORLD!

This is ironic for two reasons. One: www.theesa.com/facts/gameplayer.aspPretty heft voting bloc, no? Two: Consider the fact that these people are highlighting terms used on message board posts about the game such as "mutilation skill" and "deaths per second" as though these are things pertaining to real life. I'm pretty sure that no modern civilian human has ever had a significant DPS ratio IRL. The irony being that it appears the people who created the attack ad are the ones who can't differentiate fantasy from reality.
