You know we typically avoid flooding this place with flavor of the minute parodies and I'm very pleased with that, but sometimes one come along that just has to be seen. This is such a parody. Rock it.

Man, what is it with Gangham Style? Why are most parodies better than the actual song? The Hitler mix was clever, but THIS.. holy shit. THIS.
Whoever thought, "let's do a parody of Gangham Style but we'll make it about Big Trouble in Little China instead" is a pop culture colossus. The big straw hats? The spot on impersonations? The Pork Chop Express in the background?
TOO. MUCH. AMAZING.
Incidentally, is this song as big a hit in the US as it is over here? You know a song has fully trampled the mainstream when my mother calls me up to ask me about it.

Yes. Yes it is. Never in a million years would I expect K-pop to be on American radio, but here it is. People at my work are doing dance moves from the video on cue whenever anyone randomly goes "opa gangnam style". South Park even featured it in their recent Halloween episode by mocking all off the "clever" people who are going to dress up as PSY for Halloween parties this year. The ultimate inb4. I wonder how many Halloweens that episode just destroyed. But yeah, man, that video is epic as fuck and it's made PSY probably the biggest Asian star to hit the music scene ever. Crazy.

Yeah, I'd seen that one. Perfect for that Halloween party I didn't have.
