Take a guess. Prince? Foo Fighters? U2? Lady Gaga? Um.. Britney? Nope. According to one gushing, starry eyed NME writer, it's .. Have a look at this article. www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=1&title=why_bruce_springsteen_is_the_greatest_li&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1I'm more of an admirer than a fan of Springsteen. He still has the fire in his belly that drives him to create new records that can sit alongside his classic canon, unlike, say, Elton John, who's content to peddle the same (amazing) songs at every show. And Bruce's live shows sound amazing. What do you think of this?

I've never seen the man live in person, but if anything I've heard is true, he's earned that title. His band is brilliant, his songs are timeless, his passion is off the charts, and he's not afraid to mix it up. I mean, seriously, look at these guys jam with Tom Morello. www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-c6GphpAeY That is fucking amazing. And to drive home the point of how awesome this version of that song is, let me juxtapose it with the original version. www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4gra-OuONITo transform a song that completely and make it that epic onstage is not a thing an average performer can do, much less while jamming with a rap metal artist. In other words, if somebody wants to crown The Boss king of performers, I don't have any arguments to contradict them with.
