Well, it's the final week for this series, and so of course, it's late and is actually being written on the Monday. Busy few days, y'know how it is.
So as we bow out, I thought I'd leave you with one of my favourite bands of the last five years, cult indie darlings Belle & Sebastian, who didn't exactly wow Trashy first time round. Better luck this time?
Before that, the past, which was this..
And Trashy said?
Trashcanman's Original Response, April 14, 2011: Not my cup of tea musically, but they aren't bad at all.
Same band this time around, just a bit of a different slant. Different singer (this is Stevie Jackson, the guitarist singing. Fun fact - he released his own solo album under the name "(I Can't Get No) Stevie Jackson") and instead of being a single like the first track was, this is a B-side to one of their early singles.
No real video for the single, but I managed to find a video featuring the song with a Willow/Oz theme. Fits it very well, actually. Take a look see;

I like the way they synced the first line with Oz in the vid. I don't know, man, this kind of sounds like it should be the theme to a bad sitcom. I can't really get into it. I actually liked the first one better than this.

Ah well, can't win 'em all. I could probably have picked a better song, but that's the one I'm digging right now. I think we can write you off as not a B&S fan, Trash. It happens. You're just not going to go to Heaven, that's all.

Pretty sure Heaven was a lost cause for me anyways.
