The downfall of certain famous faces, whether it's the self destruction of Justin Bieber or Mariah Carey's "Glitter" debacle, can be entertaining to watch in a "fuck you, you deserve it" kind of way. But I don't imagine anyone enjoyed hearing about ex Fugee's singer Lauren Hill's financial troubles. She was overdue a comeback about ten years ago and it never happened. She pretty much vanished from the public eye and the next time she's actually mentioned in the press is because she's broke and going to jail for not paying her taxes.
So, hey - a shame in my books. But it's hard to feel sympathy for someone when they come away with unbelievable horseshit like this;

Um... so.. what? You didn't pay your taxes because of stuff that happened before any of us were born? All that stuff?
Lauren, the Fugees made some good records and you were fine as fuck back in the day but seriously - pay what you owe, quit attempting to hide behind a baffling blanket of white guilt and go away forever.
