What a difference a couple of years can make. In 2011 we looked at the next two years thinking we were all going to perish. Check any online blog nowadays and we're all salivating at the prospect of two years from now, in what is being called The Biggest Year For Movies - Ever. Batman meets Superman? Star Wars? Bond? Yeah, and the rest. Take a look. www.totalfilm.com/features/27-reasons-why-2015-will-be-the-biggest-movie-year-everBetter start saving up..

Avatar has had a sizable backlash so it may not do as good as they are thinking, and I'll believe Disney can make a great Star Wars film when I see it happen.Pixar sequels get no love from me. Didn't watch the last Pirates movie, won' watch the next one. Man of Steel was in massive need of title character development and adding Batman to that mix is going to help neither. Prometheus 2 is unlikely to be better than the first, which was deeply flawed to begin with. Hunger Games.....please. Video games almost never make watchable films. Aged Terminator seems like a bad idea. Alvin and the Chipmunks AND The Smurfs? Please, hold me back so don't hurt myself flying to the theater. I want a MARVEL FF reboot. Not the Amazing Spider-Man version. ID42: fuck the fuck off. JP4: I'll reserve judgment on that one. Any QT, Wright, Miike, and del Toro is great news, but most of the rest are all flat nos from me. It'll be a big year for blockbuster movies, but not for me. Looks about average for my taste.

Go to sy I am looking forward to a few of these however there is as Trashy said alot of rehash and chaff in there.
QT, Any marvel film, Hunger Games and Avatar are my picks though. I do have a bit of a soft spot for Independance day but without Will Smith it is moot.
Is it bad that the one thing I am looking forward to most though is future day? That not being a real movie an all. I think we should make it an international holiday and name it after Michael J Fox as he is awesome.

Hate to be "that guy", but the first Hunger Games movie really wasn't a patch on the book. They just seemed to rush through everything and there wasn't much focus. I'll still watch the second one, but I'll have to read the book first.
I'm curiously cold to Avatar, and I don't know why. I enjoyed the first movie, but I've no real urge to ever see it again and a sequel doesn't interest me either. Arnie in a new Terminator film, from a storyline perspective, makes no fucking sense, and from a real life perspective is just gonna look sad. Star Wars? We'll see.
I should have clarified, a lot of these movies I've not got high hopes for, but I'll definitely be in line for the likes of Star Wars just to have my heart broken all over again. I will be front row center for Avengers 2, though.
