Finally, a subject matter that doesn't cause my work computer to give me the big Fuck You. Games? Nuh-uh, forget it. Sexy vampires and endless blood. No problem at all.
Anyway, do I love me some vampires. The first thread was a great read, a few I'd heard of but all I've never actually seen. Nadja sounds fantastic. A David Lynch vampire movie? Why am I only hearing about this now?? Lemora sounds like my sort of thing as well, if only because the teen blonde on the cover makes me feel all funny inside. Some to the add to the list, for sure. I wonder if Netflix has any of these?
Speaking of fairly unknown sexy vampire films, have you ever seen "Innocent Blood?" I remember seeing it years ago and it having all kinds of hot scenes as a sexy French vampire took on gangsters. Also, ever seen David Bowie's "The Hunger?" I only bought it a few months ago and have still to actually watch it. There was a film and a TV show, both of which I now own, with no idea what either is like.
The "awesome vampires from alternative media" article has my favourite line of November so far;
That’s all well and good, but what makes him the coolest is his swag.
Alucard just. Don’t. Give. No. F**ks.
None.
Sounds like my kinda guy.
I've read Dracula, of course, and Salem's Lot come to think of it (what a difference the vampire in the book is compared to the Nosferatu rip-off from the movie), but I really, really need to read and see Last Man on Earth. You've sold me, dude.

Cooooool. I own Innocent Blood and The Hunger is decent. The television show is more of an erotic horror anthology (and a pretty good one) than anything directly relating to the film, but Bowie does host the second season, which is pretty cool. I never thought I'd work the word "swag" into anything ever, but how else do you describe a vampire dressed head to toe in red with yellow glasses who'll throw himself between two armies about to slaughter each other just so he can kill them all himself?
