Why, for Christ's sake? But, if you must, let's remove that irritating laugh track for something more suitable, shall we? Namely, Tidus's laugh from Final Fantasy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cyx6nWdFasI have a real problem with laughter on sitcoms now. I can handle it on older shows (Seinfeld is the only sitcom with laughter I can still watch) but recent sitcoms like How I Met Your Mother with an audience of fucking lunatics LOL-ing every 3 seconds just grates and takes me out of the show. Big statements; the only comedies worth watching now are those with no laugh track.

Oh my god, that was the funniest thing I've seen in months. A shitty piece of vidya voiceacting becomes the perfect response to bad comedy. I love it. People keep telling me that show is so funny, but I just don't get it. Do people know that nerds and autism aren't necessarily the same thing and neither are funny enough to base a sitcom around unless the writers and actors are actually talented?
The IT Crowd is a really great comedy with a laughtrack. It bugged the shit out of me at first, but I got used to it when I realized that the show itself was hilarious.

Oh man, you like the IT Crowd? I fucking HATE that show. They have all the talent in the world to make it funny (Matt Berry, Richard Ayeode, freaking CHRIS MORRIS!) and they still couldn't get a laugh out of me. Matt Berry is clearly the only funny one in that show, and even he's slumming it on that show.

Yeah, I love it. Other than the laugh track, there's nothing about it I don't enjoy.

I'll give it its dues, its very popular. Its final season is on now, and all three guys (haven't seen much of the girl, granted) have done really well out of it.
