They arrived on the scene with a single. That single suddenly began getting massive airplay. The album went to number one. Suddenly, in what seems like a matter of months, Mumford and Sons are one of the biggest bands in the world. It'd almost make your head spin. What's interesting is that their folk-pop sound really was something different to what was about at the time, but it's now the established mainstream sound; X Factor dullards are covering Mumford and Sons. Gary Barlow from Take That's new single sounds EXACTLY like a Mumford song. I can take them or leave them, but I sure can't escape them. Anyway, it was Mrs C that found this video but I thought I'd share it here today. Yeah, you've only made two albums and you're already headlining major festivals and conquering the US, but that doesn't mean anyone wants to actually SEE your ugly mugs. Not when you've got more than suitable, and incredibly homo-erotic, replacements. Those replacements? Andy from the Office, Jason Bateman and two Saturday Night Live "oh, THAT guy" comedians. Take a look; www.youtube.com/watch?v=rId6PKlDXeUDunno about you, but I'd pay money to see those guys.

I definitely approve of this style of music making a comeback, but I really hate to see it being bastardized by the usual trend-chasing suspects. Video is pretty damn funny.
