I am picking this song because I truly HATE this band. Words can not express what a complete and utter douche the lead singer Johnny Borrell is. I saw them support the Raveonettes once and the guy came out in knee high lace up boots and a big oversized Dr Who scarf and pranced about like he was Mick Jagger or something. Which would be fine if he had more than 2 albums of half decent songs to back it up but he wrote America so thought that with that he had invented rock music. The destruction of Razorlight was something of a mini-joy, from NME's mocking of the guy to an army of really pretty determined people who waited at the front of row of Glastonbury for the sole purpose of waving a banner of "Razorshite" in Johnny Borrel's face.
Can't say I particularly like this song. Hated it originally, and the years have not been kind to it either. Pass for this guy.

There is something very Snow Patrol about the opening to that song. But unlike Snow Patrol, they didn't manage to kill their own song in just 30 seconds. I like Snow Patrol, despite their faults, so that just makes me dislike this song more somehow.
Mostly though, that song is just boring. But I think I can have that song on in the background and ignore it, as the guitar work isn't bad. I'm just going to 'Meh!' this one.

I do not like Razorlight. I do not like this song. Droning, generic, 'I want to be a rock star therefore I am' horse shit. Towards the end I genuinely thought I was listening to a Proclaimers support band. Merit to the song it was a touch better than other stuff I have heard on repeat over the years say wire to Wire. But it was oh so very bland. It gets a no from me.
