So yeah, I've been bitching about how insane it is that we live in a world where Guardians of the Galaxy gets adapted before Wonder Woman or Runaways, but right about now I'm okay with that.
This looks like pretty much the best thing ever. Before I was lukewarm, and now I'm red hot. If the whole movie keeps up that level of awesome, this'll be one hell of a ride.

I know about as much about Guardians of the Galaxy as I do about quantum physics, but that trailer was promising. I'm not usually much for CGI fests either but if it's a good movie it's a good movie. Why why why WHY do they still have 3D movies, though? Does anyone go to movies in 3D? I sure don't. Gives me a damn headache.

I will not pay extra for a 3D movie. I can't believe this is even still a thing. I hear when it works, it works, but often you are pretty much paying more money for the picture to look fucked up. Avatar was good in 3D, but after I saw Alice in Wonderland I was utterly unsold and haven't tried again.
I actually don't know much about the Guardians either, aside from who they are, but I swear I laughed more during that one trailer than I have at several of the last few comedies I've watched in their entirety.

That's exactly what I thought watching it. Good, solid action humor. Also, how about some props for a well edited trailer? I'm intrigued, I know more about the Guardians than I did before watching it, but no major plot lines or crucial scenes were spoiled. I'm feeling good about paying to see this film.

God damn it, Marvel. Looks like you could actually pull off a movie about a bunch of super-heroes no-one has ever heard of and actually make it a blockbuster.
When I first heard this announced I figured it was overkill; an attempt to get yet more superheroes into the mix when we already have plenty in a the movie universe as it is (I'd heard it was a cross-over with Avengers 2, that may be incorrect).
Looks great. Lot of fun, but with loads of action as well and some great looking characters. I don't know dick about any of them, so I won't be burdened with "well, he never does THAT in the books" when I'm watching the movie. Yeah, I am more than up for this one now.
Marvel makes a movie about characters about 1% of the fucking world has heard of and it looks great. Why on earth can't DC do the same with characters NOT called Batman and Superman?
