All right, back into the 80's time warp we go. What's better than a hot chick with happenin' tunes? Hows about FIVE hot chicks? Like Pop Nightmares losers Blink 182, this group came out of the LA punk scene, but unlike Blink, they embraced being a pop group and committed to being the poppiest, bounciest, pop group that you could possibly still call a rock band. Their name: The Go-Go's.
If The Beach Boys ran a train on Debbie Harry and Debbie Harry had the reproductive system of a dog, the resulting litter of pop-rock puppies would be The Go-Go's. Time has actually been pretty kind to these ladies as you will see by comparing the video to the above image. I don't know if it was all the cocaine, the bad hair, or both but 80's girls all seem to have all gotten a hell of a lot hotter when the 80's were done.
Anyways, their surf-pop-punk stylings are something I consider irresistible. I hear a Go-Go's song and think that if you went to a show and these ladies came onstage and you weren't moving your body, you are missing some vital element of that which mankind considers life. This is "Head Over Heels".
And no, I don't know why some dumbass with a stupid screen name labeled this as an "official" music video and then put shitty, low-grade captions all over it.
