We head over to Denmark this week (and, keep it secret, next week) and a pop band who aren't ashamed to be seen as a pop band. No hiding behind sullen exteriors or artistic posturing for these guys. And why is that a bad thing?

For Alphabeat, today's band of choice, took the pop ball and ran with it, creating a monster hit in their home country but also the UK with "Fascination", the kind of bubbly, energetic innocence you would expect to hear at the end of a John Hughes movie.

The girl is cute, the guy is punchable, and just you try and sit still through that chorus.
