Apologies for the lateness, I had all kinda of Easter style shenanigans going on. Crucifixion reenactments are a bitch. I'm not sure this Stigmata will ever wear off.
Anyway, I promised you two weeks of Danish, and that's exactly what you're gonna get. Our second trip takes us to the same summery pop environment, but with a surprising depth of quality.
Junior Senior's debut (to date, only) album could be written off like a majority of pop/dance records; one great song and a bunch of terrible filler. So it was with genuine surprise that I saw the album racking up five star reviews, and it even made top ten of the year lists. I bought it, loved it and continue to play it to this day. Acoustic pop singalongs? Inspired feel good hip hop? An ear thrashing punk ode to the Ramones and New York Dolls? It's all there.
What they'll be remembered for, though, is this. You gotta dig that retro video, y'all.
