1992 was, in retrospect, a pretty damn cool period in music. Prince released the album that made me a life long fan, Nirvana released that little known cult record "Nevermind," and R.E.M released "Automatic For the People", which also sold a couple hundred copies. We all know them and they've all made their mark (the latter two more so admittedly), but here at the Pop Justice League we're going to look at a pop song that came and went and pretty much no-one remembers, except for that brief "hey, I know that song!" flicker of recognition if it happens to play on the radio. I'm one of the chosen few that still loves this song, not least because the singer is just timelessly, flawlessly sexy. Johnny Depp, you (were) a lucky, lucky man. It's Vanessa Paradis and the 60's girl band sound of "Be My Baby." Try not to love it, and be careful you don't drool over your keyboard. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHdOrw-8ThQHow do we find this one, chaps?

Oh wow! That's a song I've not heard in some time. The nostalgia is strong with this one - please don't try to read that in a Yoda voice.
Have to admit, (or is that 'hate'?), but ... I kind of liked that song. It was pretty funky, lose, and ... alright really hot too. It gets the upvote from me! Even if the lyrics are not inspired, and the music is a throw back ... basically my brain is unsure, but my heart says yes!
Or is that something else?

Never heard it, but I'd swear to you that that vid was a painfully sexy white chick lip-syncing the Supremes. Yes, please!
