When you think of classic horror movies, you inevitably think of a few that stand out; Psycho, TCM, Dracula..and the Exorcist. And when you think of the Exorcist, you inevitably think of a few things; the head spinning, the pea soup vomit, "your mother sucks cocks in Hell"...and the music. The record that the music was lifted from, "Tubular Bells" of course, is one of the best selling of all time, and the guy behind it, the ridiculously talented Mike Oldfield, is one of the best known and respected prog rock musicians of all time. Now you may have seen the words "prog rock" and began running in the opposite direction in terror, but fear not. This isn't a 14 minute epic ode to Merlin with 100 guitar solo's thrown in, it's actually a perfect, fucking PERFECT, pop song. A top ten hit in 1983 in the UK, it's now pretty much forgotten. Let's try and rectify that. The video is perhaps the most 80's thing ever. youtu.be/e80qhyovOnA

No dice on the vid. Here's another, with some Vampire Hunter D thrown in. www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7G9r4AZftoI'm not familiar with this song so it's not anything resembling a classic over here. It's not bad, but hearing this and seeing it's from the 80's it's actually kind of disturbing how little dance music has changed in fucking 30 years. Most modern genres of music are unrecognizable from their 80's version, but that tune sounds like it could be playing at a rave tonight without standing out from the current stuff.

Ewww. I don't know what that fucking version is, but it is NOT the original. Its pretty difficult to find the original actually. No video, but here's the real song. You've based your verdict on the wrong track..could this be the first mis-trial in Fortress history? Mike Oldfield feat Maggie Reilly - Moonlight Shad…: youtu.be/b6RmKZZl0xcFingers crossed.

Ha! Yeah, that is a bit different. Ooh, I like that. Again, I'm not familiar with the song but going on its qualities alone I think I can call this one classic worthy.

Justice has been served.
I'm actually a bit insulted you think I'd put THAT shit up as a "classic". Come ON, Trash!
