(Ahem. Sorry about that). So the game of choice this month is South Park, the Stick of Truth for the PS3, leaving my PS4 sad and alone in the corner. A surprisingly in-depth RPG, it's arguably the funniest game I've ever played but also one of the most enjoyable. Not every turn based fighting game has your enemies telling you to suck their balls, but they probably should have. And unlocking side plots and meeting the characters (Mr Hanky! Mr Garrison!) is a joy. You need this game in your life. Especially if you live in America. Because if you happen to live elsewhere, this game is clearly way too much for your tiny, fragile minds. Meaning? Several scenes are cut. Not just edited, fucking removed from the game altogether. A few bonus games (one includes abortion because of course it does) and an entire part of the game that takes part on an alien craft is turned to shit. When you try to remove an alien probe from Randy's asshole, instead of the hilarious cut-scene video the American gamers get, we get.. s.pro-gmedia.com/videogamer/media/images/pub/large/south_park_censor.jpgThat. And it happens about six times through the entire level. Its an 18 certificate game, so we can actually GET stuff legally put up our own asses, but no way can you see it happen to a cartoon character. You don't get this shit with Sonic.

Would you want that shit with Sonic? It's funny because back in the day it was conservative assholes demanding that everything must be censored from our sensitive eyes and ears and nowadays it's liberal morons demanding the exact same shit. Goes to show how stupid and futile it is to define yourself by a political ideology that doesn't even know where the fuck it stands from decade to decade. I don't know why they'd even bother releasing a game where six times in one level they have to stop what's happening and show a static screen explaining what they can't show you.

I know, right? Matt Parker wrote it off as "no big deal" which I was a little bit disappointed with. You make some amazing, bold statement about censorship with the whole Allah episode, and then just shrug your shoulders as your otherwise fine game is fucked over because of a butt joke? Weak shit.
