You know, I'm as forward thinking and progressive as the next guy. Equality for all and all that, so just as religion, race and sex shouldn't make a difference, neither should disability. Why can't a guy in a wheelchair be a football pundit? Why can't a partially sighted Muslim woman present a children's TV show? But this may be a bit...I dunno.. weird? Watch the start of this video for a better explanation. Jess Thom Tourettes Hero Interview This Morning 2…: youtu.be/Wyav2KHZP_gSeems like a nice girl and everything and its great to see she's made a positive out of her situation..but would you make her a voice over continuity announcer for your TV channel? Because Channel Four did. Channel 4 tourettes presenter: youtu.be/_3p48BSX2ZUThis isn't a one off thing. She's doing this full time now. Imagine you just tuned into that channel and had no idea who this woman is. What the fuck is going on?? So, positive empowerment or just a little bit exploitative?

Can't watch the vids because no Internet at home and I'm on my phone at work but I'm voting the latter. They want to draw in curious viewers hoping to hear the lady say "shitfucker" or something on the air while pretending to magnanimously appeal to the online "ableism" fetishists, who have already lost interest and are off to make another rocket scientist cry over a kitschy fashion choice or something.
