What do we think about this cast?

Apparently, there is a Suicide Squad film happening because DC is fucking stupid and hell-bent at throwing everything they can at the big screen out of pure Marvel-fueled jealousy instead of focusing on their television successes. I mean, the already have a fucking Suicide Squad on Arrow. A spin-off series makes so much more sense than a movie does. Instead they are spinning off the Atom? And not even the real Atom, but some blatant Iron Man knockoff that already got his ass handed to him handily by the Arrow? Fuck.

Anyways, looks like they've got the main cast about wrapped up for that one. How about it?



Was the Joker ever in Suicide Squad? Maybe he'll just be a separate part of the narrative like in Assault on Arkham or in Harley's origin story and not a team member.

Some of these I knew about but Will Smith is an eye opener. I just never pictured a Hollywood big hitter in an ensemble cast like this, especially with such a relatively unknown character. All the attention is obviously going to be on the Joker. I don't envy Jared Leto having to face those inevitable Ledger comparisons. I am very much looking forward to seeing Harley Quinn in the flesh though. When it comes to fantasy crushes, she's got to be my number one.
