For every British band that cracks the mainstream and manages to get both critical and commercial success (Manics, Radiohead, Blur) there are a dozen other bands that juuuuust missed out on smashing through the glass ceiling. UK bands that instantly come to mind? Idlewild were on the cusp of greatness but for whatever rhyme or reason it just never happened, and the same can be said for the Cribs.
Three brothers who still have a pretty fevered following but just never broke through to the mainstream (and this was back when actual bands had a fucking chance of doing that), and that's a shame. Because this one song never gets old, and should be SO much bigger than it was.
