As my Amazon review profile (ah, those were the days) once said, "not everyone is entitled to an opinion." But if anyone is due to say their bit and be heard, I reckon the grizzled 50 year rock and roll career veteran and professional Man Who Cannot Die Keith Richards is that man to be heard. And as such, it's a pity he's such a miserable fucker. Like the title says, Keith Richards hates everyone. EVERYONE. The following link is 17 withering put-downs he's given to other musicians and bands. And this isn't Noel Gallagher taking a pot-shot at One Direction here. The biggest and the best? Fuck 'em, according to ol' Keef. Take a look. www.nme.com/photos/the-razor-tongue-of-keith-richards--17-artists-he-s-slammed-from-david-bowie-to-oasis/390242#/photo/2Just...wow. Someone does need to tell him that Prince's name IS Prince, it's not like he sat there and just came up with it. And I love how he took offence to Prince coming out first and fucking killing it. Isn't that the point? Are you supposed to be average when you're a support act or something? Sounds like Dylan owned him, though.

To be fair, the Stones didn't write Satisfaction either. Dylan always had a jealousy complex with them. I read one of his biographies where it detailed his attitude regarding different members of the Stones he met, but he also asked his drummer how he could get the crowd rocking like they could. The dude just said "we can't get there from here", which is to say you don't just decide to rock like Keith and Mick any more than you could just decide to write like Dylan. You've either got it, or you don't. And not many people do. I can see him talking shit about Diddy or Beiber or even Oasis, but seriously: Bowie and Prince? If you wanted me to name two artists that anybody who truly loves music can't get away with not liking, there is a really good chance that those would be the first two artists to come to mind. And fucking Zepellin? Hollow how? Would you put Shattered up against Stairway to Heaven? Not to say that the Stones aren't right up there with them, but these are some of the undisputed best musical acts of all time. It's just insane to have that many negative things to say about that many bonafide geniuses.
