I think it's only fair after the booze and smack hi-jinks of the Libertines and the grime and punk roots of Sleaford Mods that we need to change direction to something just a bit nicer. Not a whole lot nicer, but certainly nicer. Even though you'll probably have heard of this girl from being the theme music of a prison drama that had the girls selling used underwear. Why, it's only the lovely Regina Spektor. Sadly no relation to that other Spector character, this one is a Russian born singer songwriter who moved to the States as a child and wrote, recorded and released her first three albums by herself. Yes, believe it or not, X Factor fans, artists actually do that with their music. No talent show or anything. Crazy, right? So, yes, if you watch Orange is the New Black you'll have heard her "You've Got Time" song as the theme tune, but here's "Fidelity", her first major break through single. Think Kate Bush. Tori Amos. That kind of deal. What's not to love? www.youtube.com/watch?v=wigqKfLWjvM

I think this was used in a commercial for something. Anyways, 7/10: would buy used underwear from.

It does sound like it could be in a commercial for something. That bouncy piano beat could sell anything. The underwear comment was a surprise, though. Keep on truckin', Trash.
