Wow. How funny that they took it so well. In America, they'd send out some stern official warning at best. I need to move to that country. After all of the salt water crocs, great whites, venomous snakes, and nightmare spiders go extinct, that is.

It was maybe the same guy answering the messages and he was smart enough to know not to be a humourless asshole on a forum that can be shared across the world.
I was actually talking to a guy who has family in Australia, and I mentioned the whole "can't everything kill you there?" thing. He said he lives in the city so it's not so bad, but there are a lot of bats at night. Hundreds of them. "Well, bats aren't so bad," I said. "Well, these ones are poisonous." Because of course they are. Fucking Australia, man.
