This thread is more to gauge common opinion from actual fans of Guns n Roses and rock in general, because I've never been a fan of either GnR or AC/DC. Good music (well, some of it) but just never ticked the boxes, ya know?
Anyway, Axl Rose is in the headlines again, and most of them aren't exactly favourable. He's a busy boy, arguably the busiest he's been in about twenty years. Not only is the original line-up of Guns n Roses on the road for the first time in a long time, he's also the new frontman for AC/DC's stadium tours, replacing Brian Johnson.
So the 2 questions for today;
Guns n Roses back on the road - interested? And Axl as the frontman for AC/DC - interested?

It's not the original lineup, but the core three members are there (Axl, Slash, Duff) so it's close enough. At their peak, GnR was the greatest rock band in the world, easy. But that peak was only for five years or so and in that time Axl routinely quit shows early for no reason or just couldn't be bothered to show up and sing, which made seeing them live a costly gamble. I doubt that has improved. I'd love to see them, but I won't be driving a 6+ hour round trip to LA or somewhere and likely paying a hundred plus dollars a ticket for this asshole to not bother.
And fronting AC/DC? Axl could never get along with his own fucking band, and a legendary group like AC/DC is out of the question. With Malcolm Young retiring due to dementia, Phil Rudd's criminal problems, and now Johnson going deaf they need to quit. Call it a day and let us celebrate one of the greatest bands of all time instead of going on as a shambles and becoming a joke. And you now it's a joke when you're relying on Axl fucking Rose to take over.

No, and no. I've hated Axl's voice from the moment I first heard it, and all the classic GNR songs I once sorta-kinda enjoyed are still so overplayed that I can't stomach any of it anymore. And pairing that clown with AC/DC? Disgraceful.
